Wolves Boss Tips Bright Enobakhare To Shine In The Championship
Published: April 12, 2016
Wolves manager Kenny Jackett is delighted with the progress Bright Enobakhare has made at the club this season and reckons that he will be a big star in future in the Championship.
The Nigerian striker made his seventh appearance of the season for the first team in all competitions in their goalless draw with Blackburn Rovers last weekend and showed flashes of his quality in a 32 - minute cameo.
“I think he did well and showed a footballing intelligence to move and receive the ball in good areas,” Jackett told wolves.co.uk.
“I think he’s capable of going one better, as he gets stronger, to go past people and make a difference.”
Jackett added : “He has the ability to do that and does it in training. It’ll be interesting to see how he develops off that back of that cameo appearance.
“He doesn’t look out of place in the Championship. He’s got the power and the football intelligence.”
The teenager was rewarded with a professional contract by Wolves in July 2015 after starring for the first team during their training camp in Clairefontaine.
