HJK Defender Taye Taiwo Fails To Stop Ex-USA U20 Star William Oluremi John From Scoring

HJK Helsinki dropped points for the first time in the new Veikkausliiga season after playing out a 2-2 draw with RoPS on game week three.
Four Nigerians started the game- Taye Taiwo, Nnamdi Oduamadi, Vincent Onovo and William Oluremi John- at Rovaniemen Keskuskenttä on Thursday afternoon.
Ex-United States U20 international Will John scored RoPS’ second goal in the 37th minute only for the visitors to restore parity four minutes before the interval.
The attacking midfielder was substituted in the 85th minute after he was cautioned while the three Nigerians in the ranks of HJK played the full game.
HJK,who won their first two games this season, continue to top the standings, while RoPS tentatively occupy fourth spot.
