Onomah,Sonupe In Action For Spurs As Manchester United Win U21 Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur U21s returned to action on Tuesday in their final game of the U21 Premier League and failed to finish the game against Manchester United with a flourish, losing 3-2 to the Red Devils.
Spurs coach Ugo Ehiogu handed starts to Nigerian duo Joshua Onomah and Emmanuel Sonupe, while Dream Team VI winger Nathan Oduwa was not involved at White Hart Lane.
Donald Love and Andreas Pereira put Manchester United 2-0 up before Will Miller and Joe Pritchard leveled matters, and the game was heading for a draw until Guillermo Varela volleyed home the winner in the third minute of stoppage time.
Onomah, who was has 18 appearances for the first team of Spurs this term, was lively throughout the game but was not rewarded with any goal.
Following the win, Manchester United were crowned champions of the U21 Premier League, while Spurs provisionally occupy fifth place.
