Alex Iwobi Voted Arsenal Third Best Player In April

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has missed out on Arsenal’s Vitality Player of the Month award for the second straight month .
The attacking midfielder finished third in the voting behind Egypt international Mohamed Elneny, who picked up the accolade in March, and Chile star Alexis Sanchez.
Elneny got 40.2 percent of the combined votes, Alexis gained 32.3 percent while Iwobi was next with 16.3 percent of the votes.
In April, Iwobi made six straight starts for Arsenal in the Premier League, racked up 448 minutes of game time in the process, and was on target against Watford (April 2) and notched two helpers the following weekend against West Ham.
The 20-year-old has been called up to the Nigeria squad for the upcoming friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg.
