Leading Scorer In Norway, Fred Friday Admits Several European Scouts Are Watching Him
Published: May 04, 2016
Lillestrom striker Fred Friday had admitted that several teams outside Norway have sent their scouts to watch his games with a view to a transfer in the summer transfer market.
The 20-year-old has taken the Norwegian Premier League by storm this season, scoring in each of his last six games in the division, and could depart the Canaries in the coming months if he keeps churning out brilliant performances.
“Right now I am not interested in who is after me or not, I don’t know what will happen this summer,” Fred Friday told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I just have to keep doing my best. Of course, teams have made enquiries about me, scouts from abroad have come to watch my games.”
Fred Friday was not involved in Lillestrom 1-0 loss to Sandefjord in the Norwegian Cup on Wednesday because he felt pains before the game but managed to train this morning.
