The Slovenian Football Players Union, SPINS, recognized <span class="st">Olimpija Ljubljana striker Blessing Eleke in its recently held annual gala by naming him in the Team of the Year for 2015-2016.<br /><br />Based on votes made by the players, Eleke was included in the ceremonial starting XI and led the frontline alongside Andraz &scaron;porar (Olimpija) and Jean-Philippe Mendy (NK Maribor).<br /><br />The 20-year-old had a breakthrough season this term which earned him a move to the Slovenian champions in the winter transfer market.<br /><br />Blessing Eleke was among the seven </span><span class="st">Olimpija Ljubljana players included in the Team of the Year otherwise called the SPINS 11.<br /><br />With one round to go before the end of the league, the Flying Sport Academy product has scored 14 goals from 30 games.<br /><br /><u><b>Team of the Year</b></u><br /><br /><b>Goalkeeper</b>: Nejc Vidmar (Olimpija)<br /><b>Defenders</b>: Nemanja Mitrovic (Olimpija), Nejc Skubic (NK Domzale), Matic Fink (Olimpija), Toni Datkovic (FC Luka Koper)<br /><b>Midfielders</b>: Miha Zajc (Olimpija), Rok Kronaveter (Olimpija), Blaz Vrhovec (NK Celje)<br /><b>Forwards</b>: Andraz &scaron;porar (Olimpija), Jean-Philippe Mendy (NK Maribor), Blessing Eleke (Olimpija)<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /></span>
