Agent Will Not Rule Out Departure Of Taye Taiwo From HJK This Summer
Published: June 02, 2016
Tekin Birinci, who handles the affairs of Taye Taiwo, has refused to rule out the departure of his client from HJK Helsinki in the summer transfer window.
The former Marseille and Dynamo Kiev star is enjoying a new lease of life at the Finnish Veikkausliiga powerhouse in the ongoing season, with 4 goals in 12 appearances in the division.
Taye Taiwo agreed terms with HJK Helsinki in August 2015, using the club as a stop gap measure until he regains his fitness after spending more than a year without a club.
“We are open for offers but now he is focused on the league and they have UEFA qualifying matches next month, ” Tekin Birinci told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“There is always a possibility that he will leave if we get the right offer. ”
Apart from the aforementioned teams, Taiwo has represented Bursaspor, AC Milan and Queens Park Rangers.
