Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi has hinted that he has no regrets choosing Nigeria ahead of England.
The Hale End Academy product racked up 11 caps for the various youth teams of England before he committed his international future to the Super Eagles.
Prior to making his competitive debut against Egypt in March, the English FA attempted to convince him to change his allegiance back to England but he had already made up his mind to represent the African team.
“Always An Honour To Represent My Country ð³ð¬,” Alex Iwobi posted on Twitter.
The new Arsenal number 17 started both international friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg late last month.
