Chukwueze, Okonkwo Turning Heads At Flying Eagles Training Ahead Rematch Against Burundi
Published: June 05, 2016
The Nigeria U20s have arrived in Calabar ahead of Saturday’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifier against Burundi at the UJ Esuene Stadium.
The defending champions are well placed to qualify for the third round after beating the Young Swallows 1-0 in Bujumbura two weeks ago, courtesy of Chukwudi Agor’s second half strike.
Former Arsenal target Samuel Chukwueze is in fine form ahead of the clash against the East Africans, scoring four goals in two friendly games at the artificial pitch of the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
The winger bagged two goals against Nigeria National League side, Shekarau Babes FC before netting a brace against Amakson Football Academy in a scrimmage held this weekend.
Another player whose performance has caught the eye is Orji Okonkwo, he was also on target in the Flying Eagles last two friendlies.
