Ex-West Ham Striker Emenike To Cost At Least Two Million Euros
Published: June 07, 2016
Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike has seen his stock rise after spending the second half of last season at the attractive English Premier League with West Ham.
As widely reported in the media at home and abroad, the Hammers have declined to take up the option to sign the striker from Fenerbahçe on a permanent deal.
According to the electronic edition of Milliyet, Emenike is not in the plans of coach of the Yellow Canaries, Vítor Pereira, for next season and has to leave for greener pastures.
The same source has said that he is not lacking suitors and the Turkish Super Lig are willing to sell him outright or ship him out on loan for the third time if the interested club can pay a loan fee of €2 - €2.5 million.
The 29-year-old Emenike has not suited up for the Istanbul side since May 21, 2015 when he lasted 63 minutes on the pitch against Bursaspor.
