Tottenham Hotspur Starlet Oduwa Did Not Return To Nigeria With Olympic Squad
Published: June 09, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Tottenham Hotspur winger Nathan Oduwa was missing from the Nigeria U23s squad that returned to the country on Wednesday morning from South Korea.
The 20-year-old Oduwa checked out of the Dream Team hotel on Tuesday morning before he jetted off to London, England.
In making that decision, he considered that the flight time from Seoul to London is roughly 12 hours, whereas he would have spent a minimum of 27 hours flying to Abuja first before connecting a flight to his final destination.
The Spurs youngster has now earned four caps for Nigeria’s Olympic Team, having featured three times for the Samson Siasia-led side during the Suwon Invitation Tournament.
