Nigeria U23s Star Could Terminate His Contract With Akure Gunners For Just Cause
Published: June 09, 2016
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Nigeria U23 international Stanley Dimgba could unilaterally terminate his contract with NPFL side Sunshine Stars of Akure.
The exciting winger joined the Akure Gunners in February from Warri Wolves, snubbing the overtures of champions Enyimba who were also keen on his signature.
In Nigerian terms, the deal Dimgba penned with Sunshine Stars was a lucrative one, with the contract fetching the player N500,000 per month in salary, excluding performance-related add-ons.
Besides the initial salary he received in February, Sunshine Stars are yet to credit his bank account with his entitlements for March, April and May, meaning he could end his stay in Akure for contractual breach.
Stanley Dimgba is yet to return to Sunshine Stars after representing the Dream Team VI at the Suwon Invitational Tournament.
