Norwich, Crystal Palace Target Troost-Ekong Not Joining Panionios
Published: June 10, 2016
Speculations linking William Troost-Ekong with a possible move to Greek Super League club Panionios in the summer transfer market are wide of the mark.
It was earlier suggested that Panionios were exploring ways to sign the FK Haugesund skipper from Gent and were willing to offer him a two-year contract.
“Those reports are not true, there has been no contact with Panionios. He is not joining the club, ” a source close to William Troost-Ekong told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The likes of Norwich City, Swansea City, Crystal Palace, Queens Park Rangers and Brighton are mulling over a move for Troost-Ekong this summer.
The 22-year-old left England three years ago after representing the youth teams of Fulham and Tottenham Hostpur.
