Man City Release Oseni; Iheanacho, Nwakali, Kigbu & Adarabioyo Retained
Published: June 10, 2016
Highly-rated Nigerian defender Nathaniel Oseni has not been offered a new contract by Manchester City and will have to look for a new club before the start of next season.
Oseni was one of the players released by the Citizens along with Albinson, Demichelis, Tattum and Wright.
The 19-year-old tried his luck at Sheffield United, Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion and West Brom in the second half of last season, fueling speculation that his time at the Etihad is about to come to an end.
The central defender was on the books of Fulham prior to his shift to Man City in 2013.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho, Tosin Adarabioyo, Chidiebere Nwakali and Ashinme Kigbu were retained by City.
