Published: June 14, 2016
MSV Duisburg have announced that Nigerian striker Kingsley Onuegbu will remain at the German 3. Liga club next season.
The 30-year-old has accepted MSV Duisburg’s offer to remain at the MSV-Arena for a fourth season by appending his signature to a one-year deal, with an option for another year.
Onuegbu has been rewarded with a new deal because he has been one of the team’s top performers since he arrived the club from SpVgg Greuther Fürth, netting 32 goals in 101 appearances in the league alone.
Shortly after signing the deal, Onuegbu said to msv-duisburg.de : “I am happy to continue to be part of the family. My mission with the MSV is not over yet!”
The attacker counts SC Idar-Oberstein, Eintracht Braunschweig and SV Sandhausen among the teams he has represented in the past.
