Manu Garba Says He Is Not Afraid Of Sack, Tired Of Nigeria U17s Job
Published: June 18, 2016
Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba has boasted that he is not worried that he could be dismissed by the Nigeria Football Federation in the coming days over the bribery scandal that rocked the Golden Eaglets screening exercise.
Having said that , the Nigeria U17s manager is now a shadow of himself and is looking so lean, according to sources in the national team camp.
“Manu Garba is not bothered that the NFF are planning to do away with his services, he said they can go ahead, that he is tired of the Golden Eaglets job, ” a Nigerian Federation insider told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“He tried to be discrete about the bribes he collected from agents and is surprised that the news was leaked.
“When he was in the Flying Eagles, Mohammed, the curator, was the one collecting the bribe money on his behalf but this time he personally collected the money from agents. ”
Highly placed sources in the NFF have informed this website that Manu Garba’s sack is inevitable and officials are only waiting to tell him the news next week.
