Arsenal Ladies have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Continental Cup on Saturday thanks to their 3-1 victory over Reading at The Hive.
Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala made the Gunners 18-player squad but was one of the four players that did not get match time as she remained on the bench throughout the duration of the contest.
After a goalless first half, Arsenal went ahead in the opening minute of the second half through Vicky Losada, then Fara Williams scored a penalty four minutes later to double the lead before grabbing her brace in the 64th minute.
Oshoala, 21, started Arsenal’s goalless draw against Birmingham City on Wednesday and subbed out in the 59th minute.
