Ezekiel Joins Nigeria U23s Camp In Atlanta; Akpeyi Ordered To Return For Pre-Season

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Al Arabi striker Imoh Ezekiel has arrived in Atlanta, United States, where the Nigeria U23s are holding a get-together ahead of the Olympic Games in Rio.
The 22-year-old has started training with the Dream Team, having joined the squad on Friday, July 8.
Meanwhile, Chippa United glovesman Daniel Akpeyi’s availability for the competition in Brazil is now questionable, with his South African team ordering him to return immediately for pre-season training.
After a journey that took more than one day, he landed in South Africa on Thursday.
With Emmanuel Daniel not pulling his weight during the Suwon Invitational Tournament, Akpeyi had been tipped to take over the goalkeeping duties from the Enugu Rangers man in Brazil.
