Leicester City Striker Ahmed Musa Clarifies : I Am Not An Arsenal Fan
Published: July 10, 2016
Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa has denied reports which claimed that he was an ardent supporter of Arsenal.
In March, Musa was quoted to have said the he will never sign for Tottenham Hotspur because he’s aware of the rivalry between the White Hart Lane outfit and Arsenal.
“You know me. I’m not an Arsenal fan. Someone just wrote something, everyone believed,” said Ahmed Musa to ESPN’s Colin Udoh.
The former CSKA Moscow frontman reckons that he will be successful in the Premier League, adding that he has faced English clubs in the past.
“It is a very hard league but I will do my best. I’ve played against English clubs before and I watch the league on television, so the sky will be my limit.”
Musa, who has penned a four-year deal with Leicester City, has already started training with his new teammates ahead of the new season.
