Highly-Rated Nigerian Teen Olowu Excited After Debut For Arsenal U21s

Arsenal U21s shared the spoils in their first pre-season fixture, playing a 2-2 draw with their Bournemouth counterparts at London Colney on Saturday.
Coach Steve Gatting named Aaron Eyoma in his starting line-up while new scholar Joseph Olowu made his debut for the U21s after his introduction as a substitute.
The highly-rated central defender tweeted after the game : “God’s timing is immaculate, so grateful to make my U21s debut against Bournemouth 21s in a 2-2 draw.”
Aged 17 and born in the United Kingdom, Olowu is expected to be a regular for the Gunners 18s squad in the forthcoming season.
Nigeria international Alex Iwobi, Chuba Akpom, Tolaji Bola, Xavier Amaechi, Olayinka, Toby Omole and goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo are on the books of the Emirates outfit.
