Seventeen Players Training With Nigeria U23s; Obanor Hits The Ground Running In Atlanta

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Greuther Fürth new signing Erhun Obanor had his first training session with the Dream Team VI on Monday, July 18, having arrived the team’s hotel in Atlanta when the team was returning from their friendly with Charleston Battery.
Ahead of their next warmup game against Honduras, the Nigeria U23s trained once on Monday, with seventeen players put through their paces by manager Samson Siasia.
This weekend, the players in camp will increase to at least three, as Kingsley Madu (AS Trencin), Oghenekaro Etebo (CD Feirense) and Daniel Akpeyi (Chippa United) have given their word that they will join the team 22-24th July.
Samson Siasia is allowed to name 22 players for the Olympic Games, with four of those players placed on standby.
