Mikel, Shehu, Aminu, Umar Named In Starting XI For Denmark Clash

Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has announced his starting line-up for Saturday’s clash with Denmark at the 2016 Olympic Games.
Enugu Rangers netminder Emmanuel Daniel will make his third appearance at the Games, as he has been preferred in goal ahead of Chippa United’s Daniel Akpeyi.
The defenders are William Troost-Ekong, Sincere Seth, Stanley Amuzie and Abdullahi Shehu, who returns after he was rested in Wednesday’s dead rubber with Colombia.
Azubuike Okechukwu and Usman Mohammed will sit deeper, shielding the back four, while Chelsea star Obi Mikel starts in central midfield.
Roma starlet Sadiq Umar will play upfront, with Imoh Ezekiel and Umar Aminu providing attacking support.
