Ola Aina Advises Junior Brother To Choose England Over Nigeria, Debuts For England U16s
Published: August 27, 2016
Chelsea talent Jordan Aina is set to follow in the footsteps of his elder brother, Ola Aina, by choosing to play for England rather than Nigeria, where his parents originate from.
The English Football Association are thought to be favourites to secure Jordan Aina’s international future, as he was handed his international debut in England U16s 3-1 win over Romania in an international friendly on August 24.
Jordan has been receiving advice from Ola Aina on how to improve his game, the fullback cum central defender has disclosed.
“I’ve always passed on my advice to Jordan, I’m not doing it any more than usual now just because I’m involved with the first team,” Ola Aina told the official website of Chelsea.
“I always try to help him and encourage him and he’s doing really well right now.
“He played his first England game the other day and they won 3-1 so that was really good for him.”
Jordan Aina currently plays for the Under-15s team of Chelsea and will be hoping to make his debut for the London club in future after progressing through the ranks as his senior brother did.
