Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm a report by SuperSport that Nigeria international Uche Nwofor has agreed a three-year deal with Slovakian champions AS TrenÄín.
In their quest to defend the league title, AS Trencin further reinforced their ranks just before the transfer window closed, bringing in Reuben Gabriel and his international teammate Nwofor from Boavista.
The former Flying Eagles star was in Slovakia this week but had to quickly return to Portugal to bid final farewell to his old teammates and pack his bag and baggage.
Nwofor returned to western Slovakia on Friday morning and is expected to be unveiled by his new employer today, barring any last minute change.
The 24-year-old started off his professional career in Europe with VVV Venlo, and had spells with SC Heerenveen and Lierse SK.
