Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is a major doubt for the Super Eagles World Cup qualifier against Zambia early next month.
It is confirmed that the Nigeria U23 star will be unavailable for selection for a period of between two and three weeks after suffering an injury during training at his Portuguese club.
Etebo sustained an injury after landing awkwardly on his right knee and an MRI scan has now revealed that he will spend at least two weeks on the sidelines.
Having said that, the former Warri Wolves ace has started his rehabilitation and has began jogging.
Whilst he is questionable for the crucial tie with Zambia on October 9, he will miss games against Boavista (September 18) and Nacional (September 24) in the Primeira Liga.
