Chelsea Star Mikel Warns Liverpool Will Be A Tough Nut To Crack
Published: September 16, 2016
Nigeria skipper John Obi Mikel has urged his Chelsea teammates to bounce back and return to winning ways ahead of the meeting with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
The Blues needed an 81st minute equalizer from Diego Costa before registering a 2-2 draw against Swansea City last weekend, their first dropped points of the new season.
In their last ten meetings in the English top-flight, Chelsea have managed to win three, and Mikel has admitted that the Anfield-based opponents will be a tough nut to crack.
“Always a tough game against Liverpool â½ Let’s get back to winning ways and make it four out of five ðµâª #CFC #KTBFFH,” tweeted the Chelsea number twelve.
In the corresponding match last season, Mikel was named in the starting line up as Chelsea lost 3-1 to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
