Kalmar Firm Up Interest In Eseosa Igbinoba, Invited To Train With Club
Published: October 26, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Kalmar have firmed up their interest in Eseosa Igbinoba after inviting the Nasarawa United attacking midfielder to train with the club with a view to a transfer in the winter.
But the stumbling block is that the Federation Cup final between Nasarawa United and FC Ifeanyi Ubah is tentatively scheduled for the first week of November, meaning Igbinoba cannot depart the shores of the country until after the game is played.
It is believed that the 22-year-old is interested in moving on to greener pastures but wants to avoid a controversy.
In the last few days, an unnamed Nigeria Professional Football League team and a club based in Egypt have set the ball rolling regarding a transfer in the January transfer window.
A win in the Federation Cup will be a perfect send off for Igbinoba, with his contract with Nasarawa United running out at the end of November.
