Improved Nigeria U19s Lose 1-0 To Iran After Late Goal

The Nigerian U19 national team, who are represented by the Golden Eaglets, lost their second game to Iran at the ongoing 4-Nation U19 Suwon Continental Cup in South Korea.
Compared with the 8-1 loss suffered at the hands of the England U20s on Wednesday, the team tutored by coach Manu Garba held their ground in defense, keeping a clean sheet until the closing minutes when they conceded.
Iran’s Reza netted the only goal in the keenly contested match after 79 minutes.
Following the loss to Iran, Nigeria don’t stand a chance of winning the competition and face South Korea in their final game before returning home.
England take on South Korea in their second game shortly , with the winner topping the group with six points.
