Sevilla sporting director, Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo (Monchi), says there is no truth to rumours linking the current Europa League champions with a move for Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo next summer.
And the charismatic club chief is on the same page with the attacking midfielder’s bonafide representative, who has insisted that no talks have taken place with La Liga clubs.
When asked to confirm the transfer news, Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo told allnigeriasoccer.com : “We don’t have any interest in this player (Oghenekaro Etebo)”.
Etebo’s rep added : “I am not aware of any interest from Sevilla and Valencia for Etebo. ”
Oghenekaro Etebo, 21, penned a two-and -a-half year contract with CD Feirense in January 2016, which will see him remain with the Portuguese team until June 30, 2018.
