Rangers In Advanced Talks With Nigeria U23 Defender
Published: December 15, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enugu Rangers are in advanced talks with Nigeria U23 international Chizoba Amaefule over a transfer.
The central defender is on the lookout for a new employer after choosing not to extend his contract with Abia Warriors in the close season.
Subject to the completion of the necessary paperwork, Amaefule will join the Flying Antelopes on a one-season deal.
Rangers have all but confirmed the signings of Fortune Omoniwari and Abdulafeez Awakan (both Akwa United), Charles Henlong (Wikki Tourists) and Bright Silas (Plateau United).
They will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League in 2017.
