Agent Rules Out Brown Ideye Move To Besiktas
Published: January 16, 2017
Brown Ideye’s intermediary has ruled out his departure from Olympiakos in the January transfer window, amid reports linking him with a move to Turkish champions Besiktas.
The Nigeria international has put himself in the shop window this season, with 14 goals in all competitions, but he is set to remain in Greece at least until the summer.
“What we know from the discussions we have done is that Olympiakos is not selling Ideye, ” Hootan Ahmadi told gazzetta.gr.
“He is very happy in Greece and Olympiakos. I understand that in a transfer market anyone can write information and any transfer cases, however this is the information we have at the moment and is very clear. ”
Ideye netted a brace as Super League champs Olympiakos and Platanias shared the spoils last weekend.
