Everton Preparing Bid As Contract Talks Between Man City And Nigerian Defender Break Down
Published: January 18, 2017
Tosin Adarabioyo is attracting interest from a number of clubs in the English Premier League after contract talks with Manchester City broke down.
The Daily Mail has claimed that Everton are the frontrunners to sign the highly-rated young central defender and will slap in a bid for him before the close of the January transfer window.
However, the Toffees face serious competition, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and Celtic also monitoring his situation.
Adarabioyo has less than six months before his current contract with City expires but the Etihad outfit are due a compensation fee if he departs as a free agent in the summer, having spent fourteen years with the club.
