CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has been told by his club’s medical team to rest the minor injury he sustained against Vitória Guimarães for two weeks.
This information will be sweet music to the ears of Super Eagles coach Rohr ahead of the proposed friendly against Senegal at the end of March, with earlier speculations in the media claiming that he would be out of action for months.
“I am very okay, it is just a slight knock and I am just resting for two weeks. It is nothing serious, ” Etebo told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 2016 Olympic Games star lasted the distance in Nigeria’s last competitive fixture, a World Cup qualifier against Algeria in March.
Etebo netted on his full debut for the Super Eagles in March 2016.
