Africa Hottest Youngster Iwobi In The Running For Arsenal Player Of The Month Award

Super Eagles rising star Alex Iwobi is in the running for Arsenal’s Vitality Player of the Month for January 2017.
The official website of the Gunners listed the Hale End Academy product as one of the favourites to clinch the accolade alongside Chilean Alexis Sanchez and Frenchman Olivier Giroud.
Iwobi has started every single game contested by Arsenal in January, five in total, scoring one goal and notching three assists in all competitions.
“Alex Iwobi once again caught the eye over the course of the month, scoring against Palace and then playing a key role in three of our four goals at Liberty Stadium, ” Arsenal stated on their official website.
The 20-year-old is the current African Youth Player of the Year.
