Everton Trying To Sign Man City Nigerian Defender Before Close Of Transfer Window
Published: January 24, 2017
Everton are hoping to complete the signing of England youth-teamer of Nigerian ancestry Tosin Adarabioyo before the close of the January transfer window.
The well informed Liverpool Echo writes on its electronic edition that the Toffees U23 boss David Unsworth wants to strengthen the defense with the Manchester City talent.
Adarabioyo is in the final five months of his contract with City and talks on a new deal have not been productive, with the player asking for improved wages before extending his stay.
The Manchester native was officially promoted to the first team of the Citizens in 2016 but has seen his first-team opportunities limited, with only three appearances to his name this term.
Adarabioyo has been on the books of Man City for the past fourteen years.
