Dinamo Bucharest Demand Rigorous Check Up For Obinna, Breaks Contract With Darmstadt
Published: January 31, 2017
Victor Obinna’s proposed move to Dinamo Bucharest is on the brink of collapse, with the Romanian Liga 1 side insisting that he must pass rigorous medical examinations before signing the contract that he has been offered.
The check-up by the club’s medical team on Monday revealed that the Nigeria international is suffering from a knee injury, and they have demanded for fresh tests at an independent hospital.
Also, his wage demands have proved a stumbling block to the deal and Dinamo Bucharest are now searching for alternatives.
Meanwhile, Darmstadt announced today that they have terminated Obinna’s contract binding him to the Bundesliga club.
The 29-year-old has represented clubs based in Italy, Spain, Russia, England and Germany in the past.
