Millwall exciting winger Fred Onyedinma caught the eye of followers of the beautiful game back in his homeland after his imperious display against Leicester City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
And they have urged Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to invite him to the national team as soon as possible before he joins a big team, with the likes of Watford, Hull City and Queens Park Rangers monitoring his progress.
Folarin tweeted : “Millwall’s Fred onyedinma has been impressive against Leicester, bright future ahead..might be a future super eagle too @ColinUdoh”.
sambambam09 commented via Twitter : “Millwall’s Onyedinma seems a hot prospect for Nigeria. I think it will be nice to cap him for our national team b4 his big move”.
London-born Fred Onyedinma is not entirely an unknown quantity in these parts as Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia attempted to include him in the squad for the 2016 Olympic Games but he failed to attend the get-together in Abuja.
If the 20-year-old decides to play for Nigeria, the NFF will skip red tape since he has not played for England at any level.
