Leicester City Nigerian Striker Scores Brilliant Solo Goal Against Arsenal
Published: February 20, 2017
English-born Nigerian striker Layton Ndukwu scored a brilliant solo goal for Leicester City in their 2-1 win over Arsenal in Premier League 2 on Sunday at Holmes Park.
The talented teenager cut inside on the right flank before curling the ball into the net to give the Foxes a two-goal cushion after 52 minutes.
Ndukwu is becoming more famous in England for scoring spectacular goals. In December, the 18-year-old scored from inside his own half after spotting the Liverpool goalkeeper off his line.
Rated as one of the top talents at Leicester City Academy, he has trained with Ahmed Musa in the first team this season.
Defender Joseph Olowu lasted the distance for Arsenal, while Layton Ndukwu subbed out in the 78th minute.
