Mikel & Tianjin Teda End Eight-Game Losing Streak With 5-1 Win

Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda ended their eight-game losing streak after a 5-1 rout of Japanese J3 League team Ryukyu FC in a warm-up game on Wednesday afternoon.
Before the friendly today, Tianjin Teda had lost to Borussia Mönchengladbach U23s, St. Pauli, Dinamo BucureÅ�ti, Dynamo Kiev, Gyeongnam FC, Busan, Ulsan Hyundai and Gyeongju citizens.
Super Eagles skipper John Obi Mikel played a key role in Tianjin Teda’s first pre-season win and was named in the starting line-up.
It is all but confirmed that Brown Ideye will link up with the former Chelsea midfielder at Tianjin Teda in the coming days.
