Ex-Super Eagles Star Hoping To Return To Barcelona For Manchester United Clash

Ex-Nigeria international Gbenga Okunowo is hoping to return to Camp Nou on June 30 when Barcelona Legends face Manchester United in a charity game.
The match was supposed to take place last year but was postponed because of the 2016 European Championship.
There is no confirmation yet who will be selected by Barcelona for this fixture, but Okunowo and ex-Nigeria U17 coach Emmanuel Amuneke are eligible to feature against the Red Devils.
“I am aware of the game against Manchester United Legends. Barcelona are making their list now. I am interested in playing, I am available, ” said Okunowo to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Okunowo joined Barcelona at the age of 18 and helped the Catalan giants win the league during the 1998-1999 season, where he made made 14 appearances.
The former Shooting Stars sensation played against Manchester United while he was at Barcelona, a UEFA Champions League tie at the Camp Nou which ended 3-3 on November 25, 1998.
