Top Bundesliga Club Plot Transfer Of $1.5M-Rated Zorya Starlet Bonaventure
Published: March 16, 2017
FC Zorya midfielder Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure is gradually creating an enviable profile for himself in the country where former European Golden Ball winner Andrey Shevchenko was born.
The former Nigeria U-15 national team player who left the country for Ukraine at age 16 has already raked in 16 appearances for FC Zorya this season, with three of those coming in the Europa League.
Although FC Zorya failed to make it past the group stages of the Europa League, Bonaventure got rave reviews from pundits for his performances against Manchester United, Feyenoord and Fenerbahce.
His agent Leonard Maduabum revealed that Bonaventure has attracted offers from top German Bundesliga clubs.
“The offers are coming from teams in the German Bundesliga, but we are yet to decide on where he will go next.” Leonard said.
The transfer could have happened last winter but his current club wanted $1.5 million for Bonaventure.
His contract with Zorya will run out in less than a year and we understand the top Bundesliga side is ready to wait.
The former FC Academy of Abuja player scored against Dynamo Kiev about three weeks ago.
