England U17s maintained their one hundred percent record in qualifying for the Euro U17 Championship in Croatia after a 1-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina in Bijeljin, Gradski.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Timothy Eyoma lasted the distance for Steve Cooper’s team.
England U20s saw off Senegal 2-0 to win the Four Nations Tournament in France. Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke doubled England’s advantage in the 18th minute, and was involved in the buildup to the first goal when the Senegalese goalkeeper failed to hold his shot.
Everton striker Ademola Lookman, Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori and Solanke started for the Young Lions, while Spurs midfielder Josh Onomah was not in the squad.
Out of the three players of Nigerian descent that were in action, only Lookman didn’t last the distance after he was substituted in the 46th minute.
