Ajani Ibrahim Verbally Agreed N3.6M Per Season Deal With Shooting Stars
Published: April 02, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Ajani Ibrahim may walk away from his present employer Shooting Stars because he has yet to sign a binding contract with the Ibadan-based team.
The attacker is back in the Nigeria Professional Football League after a brief stint with Jordanian club Al-Faisaly Sports Club.
Ibrahim had to terminate his contract with Al-Faisaly Sports Club for just cause as he was owed four months wages.
Shortly after the 26-year-old returned to Nigeria, he reached a verbal agreement with Shooting Stars General Manager to play for the club in the 2017 season, and he was promptly registered for the league.
Based on the undocumented agreement, Ajani stands to pocket N300,000 every month at Shooting Stars, but has now insisted that the club must draw up a written contract before he continues playing for them.
The 26-year-old, who has been handed the number 31 shirt, was in action for Shooting Stars in their 1-1 draw with Plateau United on March 5.
