Super Eagle Balogun Delighted As Ex-Barca Star Bojan Joins Obafemi Martins In History Books

Leon Balogun has showered praise on former Barcelona wonderkid Bojan Krkic on the back of his fine display in Mainz's 2-2 draw with leaders Bayern Munich in the last round in the Bundesliga. Against the European powerhouse, the Stoke City loanee opened the scoring with a right-footed shot in the third minute, his first goal for the club after arriving in the January transfer window.
''You can see the qualities in the training. I'm delighted he was able to show it in the game,'' said Balogun.
"Bojan is definitely an asset. One that the Mainz can use well until the end of the season.''
Bojan Krkic became only the seventh player to score in the top four European Leagues after netting against Bayern.
The other six players that have scored in the Bundesliga, Serie A, Premier League and La Liga are Obafemi Martins, Florin Raducioiu, Gica Popescu, Pierre Wome, Jon Dahl Tomasson and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
