Ajax Amsterdam Superkid Niyi Makes Netherlands Final Squad To Face Germany
Published: April 28, 2017
Netherlands U15 coach Peter van der Veen has announced his final roster for two international friendly matches against Germany early next month.
Ajax Amsterdam has contributed the most players to the 20-player squad list, eight in total, including the exciting wing-back Niyi Scholten, who has Nigerian blood flowing in his veins.
Netherlands will lock horns with Germany U15s on May 4 at 1600 hours before another meeting against the same opponents next Saturday, starting from 1200 hours.
Scholten has opted to represent the Netherlands at international level because of the way he has been treated in their youth setup.
Segun Owobowale (NEC) and Bobby Adekanye (Liverpool), who are eligible to play for Nigeria, have caps for Netherlands youth teams.
