Birmingham City starlet Nicholas Okoro is set to be on parade for the U17 team of the Championship team when they host Manchester United in a friendly at St Andrew's on Saturday night, having made the 18-man squad.
The game is part of Blues Academy’s traditional end of season play on the pitch series of friendlies for the various age group teams, from Under-9s upwards.
Nicholas’s late father Ejikeme Fabian Okoro played for traditional Nigerian club Enugu Rangers before he moved to England.
The attacking midfielder had earlier pledged his international future to Nigeria but was later called up to England U15 squad, which he couldn’t refuse.
