Prolific Nigerian Striker John Akinde Scores 80th League Goal For Barnet

The prolific Nigerian striker John Akinde netted his 80th league goal for Barnet in their 3-1 win over Grimsby Town at The Hive Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Akinde headed into the net from Nelson's long ball to open the scoring, a week after he scored against Hartlepool United, making him the all-time top goalscorer for the Bees.
The 27-year-old scored 31 goals in the National League, tallied 23 goals last term and has found the net 26 times this season.
On round left before the end of the regular season, the Nigerian is the joint-top scorer in League Two, along with Doncaster Rovers's John Marquis.
Akinde previously represented Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Ebbsfleet United, Crawley Town, Portsmouth among others.
