Promising Nigerian Striker Korede Adedoyin Tipped To Make The Grade At Everton
Published: April 30, 2017
Promising Nigerian striker Korede Adedoyin has been tipped to make the grade at Everton on the back of his consistent performances for the U18 squad this season.
The 16-year-old has not looked back since he was promoted to the Toffees U18 setup in January 2017.
On his first appearance of the season for the U18s, Adedoyin came off the bench to net the game-winner in the 85th minute as Everton beat Middlesbrough 3-2.
The young attacker continued to impress in subsequent matches, scoring against West Brom and Wolverhampton Wanderers to take his tally to three goals from his five matches in the U18 Premier League.
England international of Nigerian ancestry Ross Barkley is now a key figure at Everton, having come through the youth ranks, and Adedoyin may follow in his footsteps.
