Exclusive: Man City, Arsenal Wonderkids Headline List Of Ten Strikers Called Up For Friendly Against Corsica (Full List)
Published: May 02, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been named on the Super Eagles roster for their training camp in Corsica and Paris later this month.
Though Arsenal wonderkid Alex Iwobi also made the squad list, the Gunners are unlikely to release him to the Nigeria Football Federation for the simple reason that the fixture on May 26 is outside Fifa's window for international matches.
On top of that, the Emirates outfit will face Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup the following day, so Iwobi linking up with his international teammates is not on the cards.
Mountain of Fire strikers Sikiru Olatunbosun and Stephen Odey as well as ex-Flying Eagles star Alhassan Ibrahim have been invited after they were extensively scouted by Rohr and his lieutenants.
Also included in the squad are Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa, Isaac Success, Victor Osimhen and the injured Noah Bazee.
