Gent Wing Wizard Moses Simon Will Be Fit For Nigeria Get-Together In Paris
Published: May 09, 2017
Gent winger Moses Simon is available for Nigeria get-together in Paris later this month, amid speculations that he will not recover in time to join his international teammates.
The 21-year-old was not in the Gent squad for the Belgian First Division A playoff game with Oostende this past weekend due to a hamstring complaint, prompting fears that he will be struggling to be fit before reporting for international duty.
''Moses Simon has a slight hamstring injury but he should be okay for the weekend match,'' a top source close to Simon told allnigeriasoccer.com when quizzed about his availability for the training camp.
This season, Simon has appeared 41 times for Gent in all competitions and has contributed to 12 goals (5 goals, 7 assists).
He started Nigeria's last friendly against Senegal in London two months ago.
